We had a private tour with an itinerary designed specifically for our interest and activities. It was everything we had hoped to achieve and more. Marvin was extremely knowledgeable and has a good personality that made us feel like one of his own. It was a pleasure to have had him for our guide. Alejandro was also a safe and courteous driver as well as knowledgeable. Together they were an extraordinary team. I have no complaints, concerns, or any tips to have made the  history and culture experience any better than it was and I would absolutely request or recommend Marvin and Alejandro as well as Liberia Tours. The waterfall was beautiful. The sloth experience was probably our favorite part. Diego was very knowledgeable and we got to see frogs, sloths, vipers, and more. The rainforest setting was absolutely gorgeous as well. Jostin at the coffee and cocoa experience was also very knowledgeable and funny. It was a hands-on experience. Our boys really enjoyed being able to participate in the grinding of the beans. And the adults enjoyed the coffee and chocolate. Our driver Augustine was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and a safe driver. Would highly recommend using this company and booking directly.

He was amazing with our kids and really patient with our timing throughout the whole day. This experience made our whole trip unforgettable. Alejandro spent the entire day guiding us from the dry areas of Guanacaste to the wet forests in this well crafted tour. We chose the Nature Lover’s tour hiking to a waterfall, seeing sloths, frogs, insects, birds, etc in their natural habitats. Each stop provided unique education from the coffee and chocolate tour to the family owned dining experience. Alejandro made it a truly memorable experience as we stopped along the way getting local pastries, coconut water, and event ceviche which I would never ever would have tried otherwise.  I highly, highly recommend Liberia Tours and Alejandro as a guide. Pack towels, bug spray, swimsuits and even full length clothing as you will experience so much in one days time. Also, we were especially pleased that we were in our own van of 7, no huge tour bus.

Ate a yummy lunch and had a mind blowing rain forest tour. Then we visited a coffee and chocolate plantation. Check my photos. Highly reccknend him Tomorrow we are doing zip lining with them as well.
